Celebrating 25 years since it all began

When it comes to celebrating business anniversaries, many come and go in the blink of an eye.

But whatever the anniversary may be, they act as a vital marker that allow us to step back and recognise the accomplishments we have achieved in the past whilst laying the foundations for our growth into the future.

And that is why we are incredibly proud today to be celebrating 25 years since our team in HF Comms first began their journey.

With so many milestones along the way, we are incredibly proud of the work we have done to help our clients shape the ground breaking communications sector across the UK. Whilst we can’t list them all, some of our landmark achievements over the last 25 years include:

– Creating the infrastructure for allowing passengers on planes to access Wi-Fi in the UK

– Creating Air to Ground Installations for the Emergency Services Network

– Upgrading communication systems across Scotland to 5G capability

– Creating the infrastructure in Scotland and London to serve the UK’s Smart Meter rollout

Few industries are as fast moving as the communications sector and even fewer are as competitive. Which makes reaching our 25th anniversary all the more significant. We have faced and overcome so many business challenges from fuel shortages and 2001’s foot and mouth outbreak to recessions and pandemics. It is a testament to our teams truly outstanding approach that we have continued to grow through all of it.

But as with everything in Comms, it is not about looking back, it is about looking forward to the next 25 years and beyond. Since our inception in 1996 we have grown to a team of well over 100 highly-skilled engineers, working on ground-breaking communications contracts throughout the UK. And that growth will continue because, as part of the HF Group, our family culture means much more than dates and numbers. It’s quite literally, the core of the business. We consider all of our employees as part of the family and an invaluable assets to our ongoing success. With senior-level hands-on management from initial planning to final handover, and the opportunity to tap into a wide range of varied services and associated consultants, we can give our customers the reassurance of the best possible service, throughout every aspect of your communications with us.
