Testing A full range of electrical test equipment and trained staff is maintained in Glasgow, Manchester and Edinburgh. This provides for handling all electrical testing, varying from PC linked portable appliances through to high voltage pressure testing up to 40kV.
We also provide periodic electrical testing of electrical installations of all sizes, from small domestic installations through to large office blocks and industrial plants.
Fire Alarms and Emergency Lighting The fire alarm and emergency lighting installation and maintenance service operates as a specialist division and is geared up to provide a full maintenance service.

The company works to IS0 9000 standard. The company was awarded the National Grid’s “Chairman Award” for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality in 2007 for signing up, implementing and managing the “Target Zero” initiative. The company responds to calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is able to send engineers out at short notice to any where in the World providing the right criteria are met. |

Our site staff are fully trained and suitably qualified to perform these functions to U.K. and International standards. Quality Assurance Quality Control is fully integrated throughout all functions of our activity. All equipment is fully function tested by us prior to dispatch. Client and/or third party witness testing can be arranged in line with specific quality plans and carried out by Lloyds, SGS, etc., or directly by the client himself. We are ISO 9001 accredited and an authorised assembler of Legrand ATX Explosionproof equipment.

HF Mechanical Services undertake and complete quality plumbing and heating installation and maintenance on all commercial and domestic properties providing cover 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We are proud to offer a free survey on all types of buildings including office blocks, residential nursing homes, schools, domestic properties etc, which allows us not only to prepare detailed specifications, quotes and commissioning reports for works to be carried out but also to advise on risk assessment and water saving solutions.
The company will survey and advise upon completely new installations, as well as alterations to existing systems with health and safety and fire regulations absolutely key considerations.
We firmly believe in organic growth with only 1st class engineers employed by the company and our support staff will handle all enquiries efficiently with the minimum of fuss.
